Emilee Anderson
was the winner of the Lynn Turkington Award for
promotion of interest in Irish culture at 'Scoil Ard Na Greine' which
is
Red Deer's Irish Dancing school. This is one of Britcanada's local
cultural supports. This year the students were asked to design a 20"
circular celtic motif. Emilee's entry is shown in the background.

Inverkip Castle.
I used to play here as the castle is on the grounds
of the estate in Scotland where my Mum's family lived! Sadly, it is not
open
to the public. However, in Scotland there is total public right of way.
This
privilege is only available to persons who understand the right of way
and
the country code. You may be asked to demonstrate your knowledge of
these.
